Who topples a President?

OK, OK, I admit it. Despite my favorable post on BILD-Zeitung a few weeks ago I would not have expected Bild to topple our President (Bundespräsident Wulff). What happened? Bundespräsident Wulff called the editor-in-chief of BILD-Zeitung (Kai Diekmann) and asked / threatened him not to publish a critical article about Wulff. This is absolutely outrageous, even more so as the story Bild published was proven true!!!
Now I expect Wulff to step back within the next few days. And then finally - as I hope - my all-time favourite Joachim Gauck will be our President. That would definitely be a day to open a bottle of champagne … or two ;-)
