My timing for Euro 2008 has been really bad: One day before kick-off I fell sick. So I missed the first match which must have been incredible: Polish-born Lukas Podolski scored two goals against Poland. On the other hand, I am glad I did not see much of the second match because the German team`s performance was mediocre. So tomorrow we will have to win against Austria or finish in a draw to remain in the Championship. I am going to watch with white beer and chips ;-)
Oh, by the way, I tasted the “Beer American Style” I bought at Aldi the other day: It is less bitter than German beer and maltier, I`d say. I had to smile when I read on the label that it is brewed according to German Beer Purity Law (“Gebraut nach dem deutschen Reinheitsgebot”) ;-)
