Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. But I am afraid it did not get the attention it deserves here in Germany:
First, the hour of remembrance in the German Bundestag was already held on January 25th.
Second, today elections were held in Hesse and Lower-Saxony and the results at least in Hesse are really close.
Third, hold your breath, in Munich a carnival rally took place. And I heard on the radio that Munich`s SPD Mayor Christian Ude was sitting in the first wagon.
