So Iran has no nuclear weapons program? I should be relieved if that was true. Still, as long as the Iranian President wants to wipe Israel off the map, I will be worried for Israel.
How is the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) being reported on in the German media? Here is one example:
The front page of German weekly Die ZEIT Nr. 50, Dec 6, 2007 shows an American flag with stars and stripes – the stripes being rockets aiming at President Ahmadinejad`s satisfactorily smiling face. Below the flag it says: America`s big lie.
This is continued on page 3 where you can see a hand in American flag colors making a vow while crossing fingers. And it is not about wishing somebody luck, no, the headline reads “America`s lie and the consequences”.

I suspect it will be very difficult now to impose new and harder sanctions on Iran. But Ahmadinejad has to know: Israel will never be wiped off the map. NIE!
