“Enjoy yourselves at home”

“Dancing on the edge” is a Middle East-themed dance festival that will take place in three cities in The Netherlands in December 2007.
The Amsterdam Tourism & Convention Board (ATCB) website says:

During the festival, 9 individual artists and groups from 6 countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine, Iran, and Israel, will show relevant works that reveal, one by one, how they are literally ‘Dancing on the Edge’. The dance program will be complemented by a series of lectures, debates, conversations with the artists, and a special Middle Eastern edition of the ‘Cinedans Festival’.

Sounds nice, doesn`t it? But a Palestinian dance troupe wanted to get Israel banned from this festival.

Members of the group, El Founoun, informed officials of the Netherlands’ Dancing on the Edge Festival that the organizers could either rescind their invitation to the Israelis, or forfeit the participation of the Palestinians. The organizers’ response:
“Enjoy yourselves at home.”

I love this answer. Don`t you?
