“God`s Warriors” on CNN

Thanks to American re-education I learned at school that the so-called “Jewish World Conspiracy” never existed and that it has just been an invention of the Nazis to demonize Jews. But after having seen CNN`s “3-days television event” about “God`s Warriors” I have to come to the conclusion that in fact it exists. Even worse, there seems to be a “Christian-Jewish Conspiracy”. As I am Protestant, does it mean I am part of a conspiracy? Without even knowing it? That is news!
Christiane Amanpour, of course, does not call it a conspiracy, but she describes how influential – in her view – Jewish interest groups are in the U.S. and how much influence they had in the past and still have at present on the various American administrations. And she also criticizes what she calls a “Christian-Jewish alliance” in the U.S.
Her six hours report reserves two hours for what she calls “God`s Jewish Warriors”, two hours for “God`s Christian Warriors” and two hours for “God`s Muslim Warriors”. That suggests that in fact the “Christian-Jewish Warriors” are a bigger threat to world peace than Muslim Warriors. But I have not seen any Christians flying planes into sky-scrapers recently and I have not seen any Jews blowing up trains and busses in European capitals and elsewhere either.
Also very interesting: This report which every now and then shows excerpts of an interview with Israel-loving Jimmy Carter (irony!), suggests that the main reason for the Middle East conflict is Jewish settlements. Only problem with that: Some Arab countries consider the State of Israel as being an illegal settlement. And there is an Iranian president who openly says he wants to destroy Israel.

Alan Dershowitz would have made “The case for Israel”. But he was not amongst the interviewees. Anybody surprised?
