You can show me pictures of Abu Ghraib every day and every night, you can talk about Guantanamo 24 hours 7 days a week, you can blame America for all the evil in the world - you won`t make me anti-American.
I will always see the white crosses and the white stars of David on the green grass in Normandy. I will always hear my grandma`s voice telling me how glad she had been to be in the American occupation zone after the War; how friendly the American soldiers were with the children. I will always remember Marshall plan and the American support of German reunification.
I will never forget that it is thanks to America that I was allowed to grow up in freedom and democracy.
Me anti-American? NEVER.
