The British sailors have been released. That is great news! Ahmadinejad calls their release a “gift to the British people”. Mmh. That is a little bit as if I stole my neighbour`s car, handed it back to him two weeks later and expected him to say thank you. But, when in Iran, do as the Iranians do, right?
In his press-conference Ahmadinejad also stated that Iran – contrary to Britain - respects motherhood, and that women should stay with their children instead of fighting. Sadly, I heard a similar statement by a Brit living in the village of Faye Turney, the only woman sailor that had been kidnapped. With people in the West sharing Ahmadinejad`s views, how are we supposed to fight terrorism?
And what exactly is Nancy Pelosi doing in Syria? Defending women`s rights?
