Great article “Evil Americans, poor Mullahs” by Claus Christian Malzahn on Spiegel-Online, March 29, 2007 aobut the results of a recent opinion poll. This poll shows that 48 % of Germans believe the U.S. to be more dangerous than Iran. His conclusion:
The Americans are more dangerous than the ayatollahs? Perhaps the Americans should take the [...]

Sind wir Europäer also zu unserem Glück vereint? So jedenfalls steht es in der “Berliner Erklärung” , die heute unterzeichnet wurde.

Knut, the little ice bear in the Berlin zoo, is cute – yes! But do you really want him to grow up with a lie? There are people who want to use him as a symbol in the fight against global warming. Where are the animal-rights activists when you need them?
Channel 4 on the [...]
The most striking thing in the current discussions about the US missile defense shield, and Steinmeier`s recent speech at Bundestag is just another proof for that, is that Germans do not feel threatened by Iran at all. We do rather feel threatened by the theoretical possibility of a new arms race. Which is far more [...]
Snow in March - does nobody in heaven know that we have a global warming crisis here on earth? Has nobody sent a copy of “An invonvenient truth” up there?
Well, I`d better get my boots on and shovel some snow …
